Purple Hippo Shipping Service
At Purple Hippo we provide next day delivery anywhere in Ireland via our delivery partners, DHL Ireland. Delivery is free on all standard item orders, for some items ordered on special request, freight charges are calculated on the basis of weight of goods and location of delivery, this will be visable on the product page. If you need further assistance our customer service team will be happy to speak with you on 01-564 9548. While every effort is made to ensure correct postage and freight charges are added, we reserve the right to amend and add postage to an order if these charges have been calculated incorrectly whilst taking phone orders or via our website cart.
99% of our orders are dispatched within 24 hours and if you require next day delivery please ensure your order is placed before 5pm Monday-Friday. (excluding bank holidays and public holidays).

As we update and expand our services, this policy may change. When you order office products with Purple Hippo, we ask you for some personal information. Collection and Use of Information
When you order office products from Purple Hippo we ask you for your full name, mailing address, email address, contact telephone number and credit card details. During the course of the order process, your credit card details are deleted and we do not store credit cards details in any format. In order to process your order, your personal details are used to confirm your order. This is in line with best practice in the Credit Card industry and conforms with the global standards of PCI Compliance (Payment Card Industry compliance standards).
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ('Google'). As you browse the Purple Hippo website, cookies are placed by Google Analytics on your computer's hard drive. At Purple Hippo all orders transacted are protected by Secure Sockets Layer. SSL powerfully encrypts all of your personal numbers and information before it is sent across the Internet to our servers.
When you reach the payment page on our website you will notice a significant change to your browser. In your address bar the usual http situated before the URL is replaced by https. This is informing you that you have reached a secure area of the site and your sensitive information is safe. For you additional security:
- Purple Hippo does not hold credit card details of clients in any format
- All personal customer data is encrypted at time of order

Returns & Replacements
If, for whatever reason, you are unsatisfied with the Purple Hippo service, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days of payment and get a full refund, in accordance with EU regulations with the exception of services that start before this cooling off period.
Please read our returns conditions carefully:
- It is your responsibility to check the goods on delivery. All our goods are sold to you with the benefit of the manufacturer's warranty.
- If faulty or damaged goods are to be returned to Purple Hippo, you must contact Customer Services either by phone on 01-564 9548 or email email@example.com
- We will arrange collection of the goods at our expense. These must be available for collection in their original packaging together with all accessories, software and manuals.
- If you change your mind we may take goods back at our discretion if they are unopened, unused and in perfect condition.
- We do not accept returns of software licenses, consumables, dated products, food, beverages or opened software unless the item is faulty.
- We cannot accept unauthorised returns
- You must NOT return goods to our offices without a returns note number.
To cancel an order, please send us an email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting the Order Number received at the end of the ordering process, the reason for cancellation and the name of the person who made the transaction.
When ordering with Purple Hippo you must login and complete the required details for us to get your order delivered to you in the most efficient and effective manner. Please ensure all details are accurate and up to date to avoid delays.
Creating an account is very simple and you can navigate to the account registration page in two ways -by clicking "Login" located at the top right and then click "Register" in the "New Customer" box, OR add the item(s) you wish to purchase and then proceed through the checkout progress, if you are an existing customer you will be prompted to login. If you are new customer you will be required to create and account.

Our express checkout also has a unique feature entitled "Ship to Multiple Addresses". If you are purchasing office supplies and wish to add multiple branches for your company, select “ship to multiple address”, then create the address and you can choose which address to send a particular item to. Purple Hippo accept most payment methods such as all major Credit or Debit Cards in addition to Paypal. Payments for all orders must be made in full at time of ordering. We cannot dispatch orders made by cheque, post order or bank draft until funds have reached our account.
Purple Hippo reserves the right to modify the prices on our website without notice. We have an extensive product database with over 20,000 active products and although every effort is made to ensure our pricing is accurate and that pricing online tallies with our offline set price file, Purple Hippo is not responsible for printing or typographical errors.

To view orders in progress or past orders, please login into your account using the email address and password you assigned to your account at time of registration.
